Obituaries

Funeral services for Eddie Dean Ford of Warner Robins will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2010 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Service.  Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Cordele.  The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.  Mr. Ford, 48, died at his residence Friday.  He was a native of Cordele and the son of the late John Henry and Ola Lue Pittman Ford.  He was an electronic technician for CCI Cable Company and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Warner Robins.  Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Carrie Ford of Warner Robins; two sons, Eddie Ford, Jr. and his wife, Caiti Ford, and Erik Ford, both of Warner Robins; three brothers, John Henry Ford of Plains, Bernard Ford of Miami, FL and Michael Ford of Warner Robins; two sisters, Ann Hill of Warner Robins and Darlene Ford of Cordele; and a grandson, Devin Reuel William Ford.  Immediately following the committal service the family will gather at the Reginald Barry Senior Citizens Center.
