Obituaries

Funeral services for Diane Dickerson Wagnon of Cordele will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.  The family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Ms. Wagnon, 50, died Monday at Crisp Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was the daughter of the late Dewey Wade, Sr. and Sara Elise Davis Dickerson.  She was a retired cashier and a member of Cordele First Baptist Church. Ms. Wagnon is survived by her son, Koby Odom of Albany; her fiancé, Tim Brown of Cordele; a brother and his wife, Dickie and Vicki Dickerson of Cordele; and a sister and her husband, Tina and Gary Parker of Arabi. She was preceded in death by a son Justin Wagnon.
